Unicorn India Ventures Raises ₹450 Crore For Tech

Unicorn India Ventures, backed by IIT Madras, has announced a first close of ₹450 crore for its new fund. The fund aims to reach a final close of ₹1,000 crore by December 2026, focusing on advanced technology startups. It has already deployed ₹55 crore into four deep-tech ventures, including spacetech, quantum, battery technology, and carbon capture startups. This initiative aims to bolster India's deep-tech ecosystem and build globally competitive companies from the country.
