ICICI Life Insurance Reports 25% Profit Jump in Q2

ICICI Life Insurance has announced a 25% year-on-year increase in its second-quarter net profit, reaching ₹374 crore from ₹299 crore in the same period last year. This growth was driven by a 15.1% rise in new business sales, measured by annualised premium equivalent (APE), which reached ₹4,935 crore in the first half. The company saw significant growth in protection and annuity products, with protection APE up 39.5% and annuity APE up 50%.

ICICI लाइफ इंश्योरेंस ने दूसरी तिमाही में अपने नेट मुनाफे में पिछले साल की समान अवधि के ₹299 करोड़ से 25% बढ़कर ₹374 करोड़ होने की घोषणा की है। यह वृद्धि नए व्यवसाय की बिक्री में 15.1% की वृद्धि से प्रेरित थी, जिसे एनुअलाइज्ड प्रीमियम इक्विवेलेंट (APE) में मापा गया, जो पहली छमाही में ₹4,935 करोड़ तक पहुंच गया। कंपनी ने प्रोटेक्शन और एन्युटी उत्पादों में महत्वपूर्ण वृद्धि देखी, जिसमें प्रोटेक्शन APE 39.5% और एन्युटी APE 50% बढ़ा।
