Former World Boxing president Boris van der Vorst has urged the Boxing Federation of India (BFI) to cease internal disputes and focus on supporting its boxers. He noted India's recent international successes, including at the Commonwealth and Asian Games, and highlighted the potential for multiple medals at the 2028 LA Olympics. Van der Vorst expressed concern over administrative turmoil within the BFI, where factions led by secretary general Pramod Kumar and president Ajay Singh are in conflict.
