West Indies batsman John Campbell has set a new record by scoring the fastest ODI century by a West Indian player in India. He achieved this remarkable feat in just 65 balls during the Guwahati ODI, hitting nine fours and five sixes. This century marks Campbell's return to form after a previous four-year ban for refusing a doping test, which was later reduced to 22 months. He had previously scored his first ODI century against Ireland in 2019 and also has a Test century in India.
