Maharashtra Man Held For Rs 5 Lakh Investment

Cybercrime sleuths arrested Narayan Kangne from Maharashtra for allegedly duping people with promises of high investment returns. The arrest followed a complaint from a Vadodara resident who lost Rs 5 lakh to Kangne's gang via a fraudulent mobile app called ‘SD Pay’. Investigations revealed the app was downloaded by over 10 individuals nationwide. The gang used cashback and referral bonuses to lure victims. Two FIRs are registered, with more complaints expected.
