MakeMyTrip has launched an optional add-on called Price Drop Protection for flight bookings. This feature allows eligible travellers to receive a refund for the difference if their flight fare decreases after booking. The protection applies to both domestic and international flights, covering one-way and round-trip journeys. For domestic flights, the maximum refund is ₹2,500 per passenger, while for international flights, it is ₹3,000 per passenger. The add-on costs ₹229 for domestic and ₹349 for international flights, offering travellers peace of mind.
