Tejasvi Surya Urges Mysuru to Protect Heritage Amid Urbanisation

Bengaluru South MP Tejasvi Surya has called on Mysuru residents to safeguard the city's heritage, greenery, and architectural character from unplanned urbanisation. He emphasized that development should not compromise the city's unique identity. Surya suggested opposing flyovers within the city and advocating for a fully underground Metro system to preserve aesthetics and heritage. He also stressed the importance of protecting tree-lined avenues, parks, lakes, and open spaces, and investing in pedestrian-friendly infrastructure to maintain Mysuru's quality of life and walking culture.

बेंगलुरु साउथ के सांसद तेजस्वी सूर्या ने मैसूरु के निवासियों से अपील की है कि वे अनियोजित शहरीकरण से शहर की विरासत, हरियाली और वास्तुकला की पहचान को सुरक्षित रखें। उन्होंने जोर दिया कि विकास से शहर की अनूठी पहचान से समझौता नहीं होना चाहिए। सूर्या ने शहर के भीतर फ्लाईओवर का विरोध करने और सौंदर्यशास्त्र और विरासत को बनाए रखने के लिए पूरी तरह से भूमिगत मेट्रो प्रणाली की वकालत करने का सुझाव दिया। उन्होंने वृक्ष-पंक्ति वाले रास्ते, पार्कों, झीलों और खुले स्थानों की सुरक्षा के महत्व पर भी जोर दिया, और मैसूरु की जीवन की गुणवत्ता और पैदल चलने की संस्कृति को बनाए रखने के लिए पैदल यात्री-अनुकूल बुनियादी ढांचे में निवेश करने की बात कही।
