Actor Lakshmipriya Moves Kerala HC Over Defamation Case

Malayalam actor Lakshmipriya has approached the Kerala High Court seeking to quash a defamation case filed against her by fellow actor Ansiba Hassan. Hassan alleged that Lakshmipriya and two others circulated videos with sexually coloured remarks against her on social media to tarnish her image. The High Court has issued notice to Hassan and adjourned the matter. Previously, a magistrate court had ordered the police to register a case against Lakshmipriya after reconsidering Hassan's complaint.

मलयालम अभिनेत्री लक्षमीप्रिया ने सह-अभिनेत्री अंशिबा हसन द्वारा उनके खिलाफ दायर मानहानि मामले को रद्द करने की मांग को लेकर केरल हाई कोर्ट का रुख किया है। हसन ने आरोप लगाया कि लक्षमीप्रिया और दो अन्य लोगों ने उनकी छवि खराब करने के लिए सोशल मीडिया पर उनके खिलाफ आपत्तिजनक टिप्पणी वाले वीडियो प्रसारित किए। हाई कोर्ट ने हसन को नोटिस जारी कर मामले की सुनवाई स्थगित कर दी है। इससे पहले, एक मजिस्ट्रेट कोर्ट ने हसन की शिकायत पर पुनर्विचार के बाद लक्षमीप्रिया के खिलाफ मामला दर्ज करने का आदेश पुलिस को दिया था।
