Lucknow University Council Approves Reforms To Enhance Research Standards

The Lucknow University executive council has approved significant reforms to elevate research standards and expand academic infrastructure. Key changes include an overhaul of the PhD program structure with faculty-wise color-coding for theses to improve archiving. A transparent five-stage SOP for transitioning to part-time research has also been instituted. The university will now decentralize research guidance, empowering regional educators. Additionally, 5% weightage in PhD admissions will be given to children of associated college teachers, and financial sanction was approved for 17 new teaching posts for the LLB course.

लखनऊ यूनिवर्सिटी की एग्जीक्यूटिव काउंसिल ने शोध मानकों को ऊंचा उठाने और अकादमिक इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर का विस्तार करने के लिए महत्वपूर्ण सुधारों को मंजूरी दी है। मुख्य बदलावों में पीएचडी प्रोग्राम की संरचना में बदलाव शामिल है, जिसमें आर्काइविंग को बेहतर बनाने के लिए फैकल्टी-वार कलर-कोडिंग थीसिस के लिए की जाएगी। पार्ट-टाइम रिसर्च में ट्रांजिशन के लिए एक पारदर्शी फाइव-स्टेज SOP भी शुरू किया गया है। यूनिवर्सिटी अब रिसर्च गाइडेंस को डीसेंट्रलाइज करेगी, जिससे क्षेत्रीय शिक्षकों को सशक्त बनाया जा सकेगा। इसके अलावा, पीएचडी एडमिशन में एसोसिएटेड कॉलेज के शिक्षकों के बच्चों को 5% वेटेज दिया जाएगा, और एलएलबी कोर्स के लिए 17 नए टीचिंग पोस्ट के लिए वित्तीय मंजूरी दी गई है।
