Jharkhand MLA Dumps Garbage Outside Civic Body Office After Ultimatum

Jamshedpur (West) MLA Saryu Roy on Sunday dumped garbage outside the Mango Municipal Corporation (MMC) office after the civic body failed to clean Murda Maidan. Roy used three tractors and a truck to move the waste accumulated over two years from the ground to the vacant land in front of the MMC office. He stated that since no designated dumping site was specified, the corporation could now manage the waste. MMC officials have stated they will examine video footage and initiate penal action against those responsible for the illegal dumping.

जमशेदपुर (पश्चिम) के विधायक सरयू राय ने रविवार को मैंगो म्युनिसिपल कॉर्पोरेशन (MMC) के दफ्तर के बाहर कचरा फेंक दिया, क्योंकि निगम ने मुरदा मैदान की सफाई नहीं की थी। राय ने दो साल से जमा कचरे को तीन ट्रैक्टरों और एक ट्रक की मदद से निगम के दफ्तर के सामने खाली जमीन पर पहुंचाया। उन्होंने कहा कि जब कोई तय डंपिंग साइट नहीं बताई गई है, तो अब निगम इस कचरे का प्रबंधन करे। MMC अधिकारियों ने कहा है कि वे वीडियो फुटेज की जांच करेंगे और अवैध डंपिंग के लिए जिम्मेदार लोगों के खिलाफ दंडात्मक कार्रवाई शुरू करेंगे।
