Continuous rainfall in Nepal has caused the Gandak River to swell, severely impacting several districts in Bihar, with West Champaran facing the brunt of the devastation. Villages in Nautan, Bairia, Yogpatti, and Bagaha 02 blocks have been submerged, forcing residents to live on roadsides and boats. Essential belongings like clothes, utensils, and grains have been washed away, leaving families struggling for basic necessities like drinking water and food. Many are now taking shelter in makeshift tents along canals, facing threats from snakes and other venomous creatures.

नेपाल में लगातार हो रही बारिश के कारण गंडक नदी उफान पर है, जिससे बिहार के कई जिलों में गंभीर असर पड़ा है, खासकर पश्चिम चंपारण में तबाही का मंजर है। नौतन, बैरिया, योगापट्टी और बगहा 02 प्रखंडों के गाँव पानी में डूब गए हैं, जिससे लोगों को सड़कों और नावों पर रहने को मजबूर होना पड़ रहा है। कपड़े, बर्तन और अनाज जैसी जरूरी चीजें बह गई हैं, जिससे परिवारों को पीने के पानी और भोजन जैसी बुनियादी जरूरतों के लिए संघर्ष करना पड़ रहा है। कई लोग अब नहरों के किनारे अस्थायी तंबुओं में शरण लिए हुए हैं, जहाँ उन्हें सांपों और अन्य जहरीले जीवों से खतरा है।
