Uttar Pradesh traffic police have intensified action against overspeeding vehicles on expressways as part of 'Operation Safe Speed'. In a special checking drive conducted and 28, a total of 6,777 challans were issued across the state. This resulted in the collection of ₹1.38 crore in fines. The Yamuna Expressway saw the highest number of challans with 3,116, followed by the Delhi-Dehradun Expressway with 1,289. उत्तर प्रदेश ट्रैफिक पुलिस ने 'ऑपरेशन सेफ स्पीड' के तहत एक्सप्रेसवे पर तेज गति से चलने वाले वाहनों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई तेज कर दी है। 28 को चलाए गए एक विशेष चेकिंग अभियान में, पूरे राज्य में कुल 6,777 चालान जारी किए गए। इससे ₹1.38 करोड़ का जुर्माना वसूला गया। यमुना एक्सप्रेसवे पर सबसे अधिक 3,116 चालान काटे गए, इसके बाद दिल्ली-देहरादून एक्सप्रेसवे पर 1,289 चालान काटे गए। इस पहल का उद्देश्य गति सीमा लागू करके और चालक अनुशासन को बढ़ावा देकर सड़क दुर्घटनाओं और मौतों को कम करना है।
