Speeding Truck Kills 10 Devotees Near Gwalior Temple

At least 10 people were killed and several others injured when a speeding truck ran over devotees heading to the Sheetla Mata Temple in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, early Sunday. The truck, loaded with paddy, reportedly broke through police barricades before losing control and crashing into the temple’s outer wall and gate. A total of 39 people were taken to hospital, with 12 confirmed dead and five to six in critical condition. An investigation is underway to determine how the truck entered the restricted road.

ग्वालियर, मध्य प्रदेश में रविवार की सुबह शीतला माता मंदिर जा रहे श्रद्धालुओं को एक तेज रफ्तार ट्रक ने कुचल दिया, जिसमें कम से कम 10 लोगों की मौत हो गई और कई अन्य घायल हो गए। बताया जा रहा है कि धान से लदा ट्रक पुलिस की बैरिकेडिंग तोड़कर अनियंत्रित हो गया और मंदिर की बाहरी दीवार और गेट से जा टकराया। कुल 39 लोगों को अस्पताल ले जाया गया, जिनमें से 12 की मौत की पुष्टि हुई है और पांच से छह की हालत गंभीर है। यह जांच की जा रही है कि ट्रक प्रतिबंधित सड़क पर कैसे घुसा।
