Octopus Ventures Leads $38 Million Investment in Enterprise Connectivity Platform Braid

Venture capital firm Octopus Ventures, alongside KPN Ventures, has spearheaded a $38 million Series A funding round for Netherlands-based Braid. The company, launched in 2023, offers an enterprise connectivity platform enabling businesses to integrate branded mobile connectivity into their applications via a single API. Braid, which is profitable and cash-flow positive with nearly 90 enterprise customers, plans to use the investment to fuel international expansion, enhance carrier partnerships, and develop its embedded mobile connectivity infrastructure.
