The upgrades include strengthening dam walls, lining unpaved canals, and constructing drainage systems to reduce water leakage. This initiative aims to conserve water, enhance irrigation efficiency, and ensure better water availability for drinking and agricultural purposes in the region.

राजस्थान का पाली जिला पानी के रिसाव और बर्बादी को रोकने के लिए चार बांधों और उनसे जुड़ी नहरों को अपग्रेड करने जा रहा है। जल संसाधन विभाग इस प्रोजेक्ट में लगभग ₹7.03 करोड़ का निवेश करेगा। हेमावास, बनीवास, तखतगढ़ और सिंदरू जैसे प्रमुख बांधों का नवीनीकरण किया जाएगा। अपग्रेडेशन में बांध की दीवारों को मजबूत करना, कच्ची नहरों को पक्का करना और पानी के रिसाव को कम करने के लिए जल निकासी प्रणाली का निर्माण शामिल है। इस पहल का उद्देश्य पानी का संरक्षण करना, सिंचाई दक्षता बढ़ाना और क्षेत्र में पीने और कृषि के उद्देश्यों के लिए बेहतर पानी की उपलब्धता सुनिश्चित करना है।
