Jailer 2 Hindi Advance Booking Trails Rajinikanth's Earlier Film

TV9 Hindi · entertainment

Despite significant advance bookings across languages, Rajinikanth's 'Jailer 2' has fallen behind his previous film 'Coolie' in Hindi advance sales. The Hindi version of 'Jailer 2' garnered ₹1.74 crore with blocked seats and ₹1.39 crore without blocked seats for 4,504 shows on its opening day. This performance is notable given the film's absence from major multiplex chains like PVR INOX and Cinepolis due to an OTT release dispute. The advance booking revenue for 'Jailer 2' closely matches 'Coolie's' ₹1.40 crore, despite 'Jailer 2' having significantly more scheduled shows.
