Michael Bracewell Opts Out of NZ Central Contract For T20 Leagues

New Zealand all-rounder Michael Bracewell has decided to forgo his central contract for the 2026-27 season to play in Australia's Big Bash League. He will still be available for New Zealand through a casual playing contract and will participate in the upcoming white-ball series against India. New Zealand Cricket has supported his decision. Bracewell stated his commitment to the Black Caps remains strong, and he is excited about future white-ball commitments. Left-handed batsman Nick Kelly has been included in the central contract list in Bracewell's place.
