Delhi Customs on Wednesday destroyed approximately 165 kg of seized narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances valued at around ₹515 crore at an incineration facility. The disposal included 140 kg of hydroponic weed worth nearly ₹140 crore and 25 kg of cocaine estimated at ₹375 crore. This operation, overseen by senior Customs officials, is part of ongoing efforts to prevent illicit drugs from entering circulation. The destruction supports the government's 'Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan' initiative to combat drug abuse and trafficking.

दिल्ली कस्टम्स ने बुधवार को एक भस्मीकरण सुविधा में करीब ₹515 करोड़ की अनुमानित 165 किलोग्राम जब्त की गई नशीली दवाओं और साइकोट्रोपिक पदार्थों को नष्ट कर दिया। इस निपटान में करीब ₹140 करोड़ की 140 किलोग्राम हाइड्रोपोनिक वीड और ₹375 करोड़ की अनुमानित 25 किलोग्राम कोकीन शामिल थी। वरिष्ठ कस्टम अधिकारियों की देखरेख में यह अभियान अवैध दवाओं को प्रचलन में आने से रोकने के चल रहे प्रयासों का हिस्सा है। यह विनाश नशीली दवाओं के दुरुपयोग और तस्करी से निपटने के लिए सरकार के 'नशा मुक्त भारत अभियान' की पहल का समर्थन करता है।
