LANXESS and BPCL Partner for Advanced Lubricant Solutions in India

German specialty chemicals firm LANXESS and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL) have signed a memorandum of understanding to develop next-generation industrial lubricants and specialty fluids in India. This non-exclusive agreement will facilitate joint technical evaluations, product development, and commercialisation of high-performance oils, hydraulic fluids, and specialty greases. The collaboration also aims to explore bio-based lubricants, electric vehicle fluids, and solutions for the hydrogen economy. By combining LANXESS's global expertise with BPCL's domestic market presence, the partnership seeks to deliver localized, high-performance lubricant solutions tailored to evolving industrial needs.
