NCERT Clarifies Class 9 Maths Syllabus Changes

NCERT has clarified that no major topics have been dropped from the Class 9 Maths syllabus, addressing widespread confusion. The council explained that chapters like 'Lines and Angles' and Euclidean Geometry have been reorganized and integrated into other topics for better practical understanding, aligning with NEP 2020 and NCF-SE 2023. A new chapter on 'Algorithms' has been added to prepare students for the AI era. The current syllabus is a draft, with the final version to be released in October after feedback.

एनसीईआरटी ने साफ किया है कि नौवीं कक्षा के गणित के सिलेबस से कोई बड़ा टॉपिक हटाया नहीं गया है। उन्होंने बताया कि 'रेखाएं और कोण' और यूक्लिडियन ज्यामिति जैसे अध्यायों को बेहतर समझ के लिए दूसरे टॉपिक्स में मिला दिया गया है। यह NEP 2020 और NCF-SE 2023 के अनुसार है। AI के दौर के लिए 'एल्गोरिदम' का नया चैप्टर जोड़ा गया है। यह अभी ड्राफ्ट है, फाइनल सिलेबस अक्टूबर में आएगा।
