Zee Entertainment Enterprises reported a 40% year-on-year decline in consolidated net profit to Rs 46 crore for the September 2026 quarter. Despite a 13% rise in operating revenue to Rs 2,225 crore, driven by subscription revenue and the FIFA World Cup, EBITDA fell 52% to Rs 71 crore. Higher programming, advertising, and promotional expenses led to an EBITDA margin contraction to 3.2% from 7.4% last year. ZEE5, the company's streaming platform, saw revenue more than double, contributing positively to EBITDA.
