फतेहाबाद के जाखल में महीनों से चल रहा किसानों का आंदोलन शनिवार को खत्म हो गया। जिला प्रशासन ने अस्थायी रेलवे मार्ग खोलने का आदेश दिया। यह फैसला तब आया जब शुक्रवार को बातचीत विफल होने पर किसानों ने रेलवे ट्रैक जाम कर दिया था और चेतावनी दी थी कि अगर रास्ता नहीं खोला गया तो वे आगे भी जाम करेंगे। अधिकारियों ने किसानों की पुरानी शिकायत और रोजमर्रा की आवाजाही और परिवहन की दिक्कतों को दूर करने की जरूरत को स्वीकार करते हुए रास्ता खुलवाया। किसानों ने बहाल हुए रास्ते का जश्न मनाया, आभार व्यक्त किया और कहा कि इससे मंडियों तक उपज पहुंचाने की उनकी मुश्किलें खत्म हो जाएंगी।
