Rao stated on X that the right to vote for 1.4 billion Indians is paramount and cannot be compromised by any single person. He criticized the perceived desperation to protect one individual, questioning how one person could be considered greater than the rights of the entire nation.

बीआरएस के कार्यकारी अध्यक्ष केटी रामा राव ने मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त ज्ञान प्रकाश को हटाने की मांग की है। उन्होंने कहा कि कोई भी व्यक्ति संविधान से ऊपर नहीं है। राव ने एक्स पर कहा कि 1.4 अरब भारतीयों के वोट देने का अधिकार सर्वोपरि है और इसे किसी एक व्यक्ति से समझौता नहीं किया जा सकता। उन्होंने एक व्यक्ति को बचाने की कथित हताशा की आलोचना की और सवाल किया कि एक व्यक्ति को पूरे देश के अधिकारों से बड़ा कैसे माना जा सकता है।
