Iran has declared its intention to disrupt an Arab-operated, US-assisted oil shuttle system facilitating exports through the Strait of Hormuz. Security chief Mohsen Rezaei stated that Iran is targeting this system, which uses smaller vessels to transfer oil to larger tankers. He claimed Iran has been striking five to six participating vessels nightly for weeks. Rezaei also threatened digital infrastructure in the UAE and around the Strait, accusing Saudi Arabia of aiding US oil movements. This escalation follows Iran's closure of the vital waterway amid the US-Israel war on Iran.
