Three successive explosions in Hazaribag's Nawadih forest on Tuesday killed three animals, including a pet pig, a dog, and a jackal, causing panic among local villagers. Residents suspect the blasts were used for illegal hunting, as they spotted two suspicious men fleeing the scene shortly after the explosions. Police and the forest department are investigating the incident, having seized a scooter and belongings left behind by the suspected poachers. The use of explosives for wildlife hunting is illegal and poses a significant threat to the local ecosystem.
