Graham Staines Murder Convict Dara Singh Set Free

Dara Singh, the main convict in the 1999 murder of Australian missionary Graham Staines and his two sons, is set to be released. The Odisha State Sentence Review Board recommended his release from jail. Staines and his sons were attacked and burned to death in Keonjhar district while they were sleeping in their jeep. The incident sparked national and international outrage.
