Times of India · science
ISRO is set to launch its NVS-03 satellite on the GSLV-F18 rocket, carrying an indigenous atomic clock to enhance India's satellite navigation capabilities. This mission aims to strengthen the NavIC system, India's own regional navigation satellite service. The NVS-03 is the third satellite in its series, following NVS-01 and NVS-02, and will add the civilian L1 signal for broader device compatibility. The launch is scheduled for Friday night from Sriharikota, marking a significant step towards India's time sovereignty and independent navigation infrastructure.
