MP Seeks Centre's Help on Karnataka-Andhra Boundary

Ballari MP E. Tukaram has requested the Union Home Minister's intervention to resolve the inter-State boundary dispute between Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. बलारी सांसद ई. तुकाराम ने कर्नाटक और आंध्र प्रदेश के बीच अंतर-राज्यीय सीमा विवाद को सुलझाने के लिए केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री से हस्तक्षेप करने का अनुरोध किया है। यह विवाद बलारी क्षेत्र में लगभग 68.5 हेक्टेयर जमीन से जुड़ा है, जो ओबुलपुरम माइनिंग कंपनी के पट्टे से संबंधित है। सांसद ने सर्वे रिकॉर्ड और ऐतिहासिक नक्शों में विसंगतियों का हवाला देते हुए केंद्रीय प्राधिकरण से निष्पक्ष जांच की मांग की है। उन्होंने लौह अयस्क खनन में कथित अनियमितताओं को दूर करने के लिए ऐतिहासिक डेटा और वर्तमान सर्वे रिकॉर्ड के मिलान का आग्रह किया है।
