Unfavourable weather conditions forced the Indian Air Force's Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team to shorten their aerial display during the Mysuru Dasara celebrations on Sunday. Despite cloudy skies and overnight rain, the team performed three basic horizontal manoeuvres, drawing applause from the large crowd. The display, delayed by 45 minutes, was limited due to the need for clear skies for intricate aerobatic formations. Wing Commander Abhimanyu Tyagi expressed regret, hoping for favourable weather on Monday to present the full nine-aircraft display.
