Israel's influence in Cyprus is expanding beyond tourism, with election campaign posters appearing near Larnaca airport and a pro-Israel parliamentary caucus formed by Cypriot lawmakers. Israelis made nearly 600,000 trips to Cyprus last year, more than double the 2022 figure, and property purchases by Israelis in the Larnaca district exceeded other nationalities. An estimated 15,000 to 20,000 Israelis now consider Cyprus home, a significant increase from the 2021 census.
