Hyderabad Man Held With Rs 1.5 Crore Weed

Customs officials at Cochin International Airport seized approximately 4kg of hydroponic weed valued at Rs 1.5 crore. The seizure was made from a passenger who arrived from Bangkok via Colombo on Monday. The passenger, identified as Shakh Zaved Ali from Hyderabad, was apprehended during the investigation. Another passenger, Shivpratap Jaysing Sankpal from Kolhapur, who allegedly assisted in the smuggling, was also identified and arrested. This operation highlights ongoing efforts to curb drug trafficking through air travel.
