Landslides Hit Sikkim and Darjeeling, Two Injured

Heavy rains have triggered landslides in West Sikkim's Rimbi village, endangering nearly 30 households and government quarters. The administration has evacuated vulnerable families as the landslide continues to threaten homes. In Darjeeling, a landslide struck Takdah Cantonment Hospital, injuring two people who were rescued along with three patients and a caretaker. Connectivity across the Darjeeling hills has been disrupted, with roads blocked and the Balason river causeway washed away. The Sikkim Chief Minister is monitoring the situation closely.

सिक्किम और दार्जिलिंग में भूस्खलन, दो घायल

सिक्किम के रिम्बी गांव में भारी बारिश से भूस्खलन हुआ है, जिससे करीब 30 घर और सरकारी क्वार्टर खतरे में हैं। प्रशासन ने परिवारों को सुरक्षित निकाल लिया है। दार्जिलिंग में तकदाह कैंटोनमेंट अस्पताल में भी भूस्खलन हुआ, जिसमें दो लोग घायल हुए। कई सड़कें बंद हैं और बालासन नदी का पुल बह गया है। सिक्किम के मुख्यमंत्री हालात पर नज़र रखे हुए हैं।
