Chola to Raise ₹5,000 Crore Via Qualified Institutions Placement

Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Company (Chola), the financial services arm of Murugappa Group, announced its plan to raise ₹5,000 crore through a Qualified Institutions Placement (QIP). The company's board has approved the issuance of equity shares or convertible securities for the fundraising. This move comes as Chola reported a significant 41% year-on-year growth in profit after tax for the quarter ending, reaching ₹1,630 crore. Disbursements also saw a substantial 47% increase, indicating strong operational performance.

मुरुगप्पा ग्रुप की वित्तीय सेवा कंपनी Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Company (Chola) ने क्वालिफाइड इंस्टीट्यूशंस प्लेसमेंट (QIP) के ज़रिए ₹5,000 करोड़ जुटाने की योजना का ऐलान किया है। कंपनी के बोर्ड ने फंड जुटाने के लिए इक्विटी शेयर या कन्वर्टिबल सिक्योरिटीज जारी करने को मंज़ूरी दे दी है। यह कदम ऐसे समय में आया है जब Chola ने सितंबर तिमाही में टैक्स के बाद मुनाफे में 41% की सालाना बढ़ोतरी दर्ज की, जो ₹1,630 करोड़ रहा। डिस्बर्समेंट में भी 47% की बड़ी बढ़ोतरी देखी गई, जो मजबूत परिचालन प्रदर्शन को दर्शाता है।
