Keralam Local Body Ward Bypolls Arrangements Complete

Arrangements are complete for by-elections to 38 local body wards in Keralam, scheduled for Monday. The State Election Commissioner confirmed all preparations are in place for the smooth conduct of polling, which will take place from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. A total of 126 candidates, including 62 women, are contesting across 385 polling stations. The results of these bypolls are significant as they are the first local body elections since the current UDF government assumed power in May. Counting will commence on September 29 at 10 p.m.
