An iron slab collapsed at a construction site in Gandhinagar around 9 p.m., trapping workers underneath. The incident occurred while the slab was being erected between two buildings. Fifteen workers were rescued following the collapse. Twelve of the rescued workers have been hospitalised for treatment. गांधीनगर में रात करीब 9 बजे एक कंस्ट्रक्शन साइट पर लोहे की एक बड़ी स्लैब गिर गई। इस हादसे में कई मजदूर दब गए। यह स्लैब दो इमारतों के बीच लगाई जा रही थी। गनीमत रही कि 15 मजदूरों को सुरक्षित निकाल लिया गया। इनमें से 12 को इलाज के लिए अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया है। यह घटना कंस्ट्रक्शन साइट्स पर सुरक्षा नियमों की अहमियत बताती है।
