Bengal CM Assures Land For Indian Oil Expansion

West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari has assured Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) of facilitating land for its proposed petrochemical complex expansion in Haldia. The project requires 175 acres, with 85 acres already arranged by the Haldia Development Authority. The remaining land may be acquired through the Haldia Dock Complex of Syama Prasad Mookherjee Port. This development is crucial for IOC's plans to supplement its Haldia refinery with downstream petrochemical facilities, a model successfully implemented at its Paradip refinery.

पश्चिम बंगाल के मुख्यमंत्री सुवेंदु अधिकारी ने इंडियन ऑयल कॉर्पोरेशन (IOC) को हल्दिया में अपने प्रस्तावित पेट्रोकेमिकल कॉम्प्लेक्स विस्तार के लिए जमीन उपलब्ध कराने का आश्वासन दिया है। इस प्रोजेक्ट के लिए 175 एकड़ जमीन की जरूरत है, जिसमें से 85 एकड़ जमीन हल्दिया डेवलपमेंट अथॉरिटी ने पहले ही तैयार कर ली है। बाकी बची जमीन श्यामा प्रसाद मुखर्जी पोर्ट के हल्दिया डॉक कॉम्प्लेक्स के जरिए हासिल की जा सकती है। यह विकास IOC की हल्दिया रिफाइनरी को डाउनस्ट्रीम पेट्रोकेमिकल सुविधाओं से जोड़ने की योजनाओं के लिए महत्वपूर्ण है, जैसा कि उन्होंने अपनी पारादीप रिफाइनरी में सफलतापूर्वक किया है।
