Pune Railway Station Ramps Up Crowd Management Measures Ahead of Diwali, Chhath

Pune rail division has initiated enhanced crowd management strategies in anticipation of the upcoming Diwali and Chhath festivals. A temporary holding area with a capacity for 1,500 passengers has been established, equipped with essential amenities. To regulate passenger flow, authorities are considering restrictions on platform ticket sales and parcel bookings. Special trains are already operating to various destinations, and a significant deployment of ticket-checking and RPF staff is in place to ensure orderly boarding and prevent untoward incidents.

पुणे रेल मंडल ने आने वाली दिवाली और छठ पूजा के त्योहारों को देखते हुए भीड़ प्रबंधन की बेहतर व्यवस्थाएं शुरू कर दी हैं। 1,500 यात्रियों की क्षमता वाला एक अस्थायी होल्डिंग एरिया बनाया गया है, जिसमें ज़रूरी सुविधाएं भी हैं। यात्रियों की आवाजाही को नियंत्रित करने के लिए, अधिकारी प्लेटफॉर्म टिकट की बिक्री और पार्सल बुकिंग पर रोक लगाने पर विचार कर रहे हैं। अलग-अलग जगहों के लिए पहले से ही स्पेशल ट्रेनें चल रही हैं, और व्यवस्थित तरीके से चढ़ाई सुनिश्चित करने और किसी भी अप्रिय घटना को रोकने के लिए टिकट चेकिंग और RPF स्टाफ की बड़ी संख्या में तैनाती की गई है।
