Bangladesh has expressed strong displeasure with Saudi Arabia after two of its citizens were executed in Mecca. सऊदी अरब में दो बांग्लादेशी नागरिकों को फांसी दिए जाने के बाद बांग्लादेश ने रियाद के प्रति कड़ा ऐतराज जताया है। बांग्लादेशी अधिकारियों ने कहा कि उन्हें फांसी होने के बाद ही इसकी सूचना दी गई। सऊदी गृह मंत्रालय ने बताया कि दोनों को मस्जिद के अंदर 'अश्लील कृत्य' का दोषी पाया गया था। बांग्लादेश ने औपचारिक रूप से रियाद से फांसी और उससे जुड़ी परिस्थितियों के बारे में विस्तृत जानकारी मांगी है। इस घटना से सऊदी अरब में काम कर रहे 30 लाख से अधिक बांग्लादेशियों में चिंता फैल गई है।
