Rohtak District Selected For ICMR Project To Track Causes of Death

Haryana will pilot an ICMR-funded 'verbal autopsy' project in Rohtak district to improve the quality of death cause information. This initiative, led by AIIMS-New Delhi in collaboration with the Haryana health department, aims to generate systematic data for health planning. Approximately 5,000 deaths will be covered during the project's implementation period. Designated health personnel will conduct interviews via a mobile app, with medical officers reviewing the data to assign causes of death.

हरियाणा रोहतक जिले में आईसीएमआर द्वारा वित्त पोषित 'वर्बल ऑटोप्सी' प्रोजेक्ट शुरू करेगा ताकि मौत के कारणों की जानकारी की गुणवत्ता में सुधार हो सके। यह पहल, जिसका नेतृत्व AIIMS-नई दिल्ली हरियाणा स्वास्थ्य विभाग के सहयोग से कर रहा है, स्वास्थ्य योजना के लिए व्यवस्थित डेटा तैयार करने का लक्ष्य रखती है। प्रोजेक्ट के कार्यान्वयन अवधि के दौरान लगभग 5,000 मौतों को कवर किया जाएगा। नामित स्वास्थ्य कर्मी एक मोबाइल ऐप के माध्यम से साक्षात्कार करेंगे, और चिकित्सा अधिकारी मौत के कारणों को निर्दिष्ट करने के लिए डेटा की समीक्षा करेंगे।
