The K-9 unit helped locate three survivors trapped in earthquake debris in Venezuela. Joey and his handler trained for over five months before certification. His specialized skills allow him to search unstable disaster sites and detect people buried in rubble, proving invaluable in rescue operations. He also provides comfort to first responders.
