SFI Activists Begin Relay Fast Demanding Unconditional Withdrawal of Student Suspensions

Students Federation of India activists have intensified their protest, demanding the unconditional revocation of 16 students' suspensions from Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit (SSUS). Three suspended students have begun an indefinite relay fast at the Kalady campus, vowing to continue until their suspension is withdrawn without conditions. The SSUS Syndicate had previously decided on a conditional revocation for 12 students, requiring an unconditional apology for future disciplinary compliance. The remaining four students face a two-month suspension extension for alleged involvement in SFI activities during their disciplinary action period.

स्टूडेंट्स फेडरेशन ऑफ इंडिया (एसएफआई) के कार्यकर्ताओं ने श्री शंकराचार्य संस्कृत विश्वविद्यालय (एसएसयूएस) से 16 छात्रों के निलंबन को बिना शर्त रद्द करने की मांग को लेकर अपना विरोध तेज कर दिया है। तीन निलंबित छात्रों ने कलाडी परिसर में अनिश्चितकालीन रिले अनशन शुरू कर दिया है, और उन्होंने निलंबन वापस लिए जाने तक इसे जारी रखने की कसम खाई है। इससे पहले एसएसयूएस सिंडिकेट ने 12 छात्रों के निलंबन को सशर्त वापसी का फैसला किया था, जिसमें भविष्य में अनुशासनात्मक अनुपालन के लिए बिना शर्त माफी की आवश्यकता थी। शेष चार छात्रों को उनके अनुशासनात्मक कार्रवाई की अवधि के दौरान एसएफआई गतिविधियों में कथित संलिप्तता के लिए दो महीने के निलंबन विस्तार का सामना करना पड़ रहा है।
