Andhra Pradesh Bar Council Elects New Chairman and Vice-Chairman

The Bar Council of Andhra Pradesh (BCAP) has announced the election of Yalamanjula Balaji as its new Chairman and Bandaru Venkata Ramana Murthy as Vice-Chairman. Kaligineedi Chidambaram has also been elected as a Member of the Bar Council of India from Andhra Pradesh. These elections were conducted on Friday, following a Supreme Court order dated September 2. The BCAP secretary confirmed the proceedings were in compliance with the court's directive in the case of M. Varadhan Vs. Union of India & Others.

आंध्र प्रदेश बार काउंसिल (BCAP) ने यलमंजुला बालाजी को अपना नया अध्यक्ष और बंदारू वेंकट रमणा मूर्ति को उपाध्यक्ष चुना है। कालिगिनेडी चिदंबरम को आंध्र प्रदेश से बार काउंसिल ऑफ इंडिया का सदस्य भी चुना गया है। ये चुनाव शुक्रवार को सुप्रीम कोर्ट के 2 सितंबर के आदेश के बाद हुए। BCAP सचिव ने पुष्टि की कि कार्यवाही एम. वरधन बनाम यूनियन ऑफ इंडिया और अन्य के मामले में अदालत के निर्देश के अनुसार की गई थी।
