The discovery came two days after a fire, suspected to be caused by an LPG cylinder leak, engulfed their G+1 rented house. Police believe the couple may have died from suffocation after locking themselves in their room out of fear as the fire spread. The Gangammanagudi police have registered a case of accidental death and are investigating the precise cause of the incident.
