ICG Ship Shaunak Departs For Australia With QUAD

Indian Coast Guard ship Shaunak has sailed from Chennai to Perth, Australia, for the QUAD-at-Sea Ship Observer Mission. The mission aims to enhance maritime interoperability and professional exchanges among India, Australia, Japan, and the United States. Six officers, including two from India and Japan and one each from Australia and the U.S., are onboard as Sea Riders. This initiative strengthens coordination and mutual understanding of maritime operations among the four QUAD countries, aligning with a commitment to a free and open Indo-Pacific maritime order.

भारतीय तटरक्षक जहाज शौनाक, QUAD-at-Sea शिप ऑब्जर्वर मिशन के लिए चेन्नई से ऑस्ट्रेलिया के पर्थ के लिए रवाना हुआ है। इस मिशन का मकसद भारत, ऑस्ट्रेलिया, जापान और अमेरिका के बीच समुद्री तालमेल और पेशेवर आदान-प्रदान को बढ़ाना है। इसमें भारत और जापान के दो-दो, और ऑस्ट्रेलिया व अमेरिका के एक-एक अधिकारी सी राइडर के तौर पर शामिल हैं। यह पहल चारों QUAD देशों के बीच समुद्री संचालन में समन्वय और आपसी समझ को मजबूत करती है।
