Baramulla police, in a joint operation with the Rashtriya Rifles, apprehended two suspected terror associates in Delina based on intelligence inputs. The arrested individuals, identified as Tahir Ahmad Malik and Waseem Sultan Beigh, were found with arms, ammunition, and explosives. Recoveries included Turkish-made pistols, two improvised explosive devices weighing approximately 15 kg and 7.5 kg, a scooty, and cash. Preliminary investigations suggest they operated as overground workers, facilitating weapons and explosives for terror operatives. Further investigation is underway to uncover their network and the source of the seized materials.
