Karnataka Milk Federation Hikes Prices of Ghee, Butter, and Paneer

Following recent increases in milk and curd prices, the Bangalore Urban, Rural & Ramanagara District Co-Operative Milk Producers Societies Union Limited (BAMUL) has now raised the costs of ghee, butter, and paneer in Karnataka. Effective November 5, the price of one-litre ghee has surged from ₹715 to ₹850, while butter prices have also seen significant hikes. A 200 gm pack of paneer now costs ₹115, up from ₹96. This move places an additional financial burden on consumers and the hotel industry, which relies heavily on these dairy products.

हाल ही में दूध और दही की कीमतों में बढ़ोतरी के बाद, बेंगलुरु शहरी, ग्रामीण और रामनगर जिला सहकारी दुग्ध उत्पादक संघ लिमिटेड (BAMUL) ने अब कर्नाटक में घी, मक्खन और पनीर की लागत बढ़ा दी है। 5 नवंबर से प्रभावी, एक लीटर घी की कीमत ₹715 से बढ़कर ₹850 हो गई है, जबकि मक्खन की कीमतों में भी काफी वृद्धि देखी गई है। पनीर के 200 ग्राम पैक की कीमत अब ₹96 से बढ़कर ₹115 हो गई है। इस कदम से उपभोक्ताओं और होटल उद्योग पर अतिरिक्त वित्तीय बोझ पड़ेगा, जो इन डेयरी उत्पादों पर बहुत अधिक निर्भर हैं।
