Ex-CIA Inspector Kaptan Singh, 3 Others Surrender in 2017 Opium Frame-Up Case

Four individuals, including former CIA inspector Kaptan Singh, surrendered before a Hisar court on Saturday. They are involved in a nearly nine-year-old case concerning the alleged abduction and false implication of a Central Bank of India manager in an opium smuggling case. The court granted bail to all four accused on personal bonds of ₹50,000 each. The case dates back to a complaint filed in 2018 by Ramanjit Singh, who alleged he was intercepted, robbed, and then framed in a false opium recovery case.
