14-Year-Old Starts College Sophomore Year

Van-Houston McMillion, 14, has begun his sophomore year at Calhoun Community College in Huntsville, Alabama. He enrolled at age twelve, becoming the youngest student in the college's history. McMillion is pursuing a degree in chemistry and expects to graduate before turning sixteen. His mother noticed his exceptional learning ability at age two. Despite a steep learning curve, he maintained a 3.5 GPA during his freshman year, earning a spot on the Dean's List.
