Four Left parties and the BRS will stage a joint protest in Khammam on October 22 over alleged political bias in the Indiramma housing scheme. CPI (M) district secretary Nunna Nageswara Rao stated that houses are being allotted arbitrarily at the behest of ruling Congress leaders. He further alleged that political interference and misuse of power are causing injustice to deserving poor families. The dharna, to be held in front of the Integrated District Offices Complex, demands a fair and impartial selection process free from political interference.

चार लेफ्ट पार्टियां और बीआरएस 22 अक्टूबर को खम्मम में इंदिरम्मा आवास योजना में कथित राजनीतिक पक्षपात के खिलाफ संयुक्त विरोध प्रदर्शन करेंगी। CPI (M) के जिला सचिव नुन्ना नागेश्वर राव ने कहा कि सत्ताधारी कांग्रेस नेताओं के कहने पर मनमाने ढंग से मकान आवंटित किए जा रहे हैं। उन्होंने आगे आरोप लगाया कि राजनीतिक हस्तक्षेप और सत्ता के दुरुपयोग से योग्य गरीब परिवारों के साथ अन्याय हो रहा है। इंटीग्रेटेड डिस्ट्रिक्ट ऑफिस कॉम्प्लेक्स के सामने होने वाला धरना राजनीतिक हस्तक्षेप से मुक्त निष्पक्ष और न्यायसंगत चयन प्रक्रिया की मांग करता है।
