NTPC's Q2 Power Generation Surges 13% To 118 Billion Units

NTPC has reported a significant 13 per cent year-on-year growth in power generation, reaching 117.9 billion units in the July-September quarter. This robust performance was accompanied by a substantial 28.45 per cent increase in coal dispatch, totaling 11.899 million metric tonnes. Power trading volume also saw a healthy rise of 22 per cent. As India's largest power generation company, NTPC's operational efficiency is crucial for meeting the nation's energy demands, which it fulfills by one-fourth.
